Bio
My research interest is in communications, encompassing chaos-based digital communications, low-density parity-check codes, physical-layer network coding, cooperative communication networks, wireless sensor networks, wireless communications, and applications of complex-network theories to communications.
I have co-authored three monographs and published over 320 papers. I am also a co-holder of five US and two China patents, and three other pending US/China patents.
In the professional arena, I have served as a guest associate editor of International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos since January 2010. I served as an associate editor for a number of internationally renowned journals, including IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II (2004-2005 and 2016-2019), IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I in (2006-2007), and IEEE Circuits and Systems Magazine (2012-2015).
