Francesca Santoni de Sio

Francesca Santoni de Sio currently works at the The San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy TIGET, San Raffaele Scientific Institute. Her main interest is the study of the molecular mechanisms that control differentiation and function of immune cells. In particular, her studies focus on the epigenetic and genetic components that control peripheral immune tolerance and are compromised in pathological conditions, such as multiple sclerosis and reumathoid arthritis.
