Florian Soom

Florian Soom received the B.Sc. degree in earth sciences from ETH Zürich, Zürich, Switzerland, in 2010, and the M.Sc. degree in applied geophysics from the Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, ETH Zürich, and RWTH Aachen, Aachen, Germany, in 2013. In 2015, he joined as a Research Associate the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, CA, USA, where he is mainly involved in the Next-Generation Ecosystem Experiments Arctic project. His work mainly consists of applying various geophysical methods and processing soil core data in order to answer permafrost ecosystem science questions.
