Fiona McEwen

I am the XCEPT Survey and Interventions Director at King's College London. XCEPT aims to understand pathways to violent and peaceful behaviour in post-conflict settings, focusing on Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and South Sudan. I am also a visiting researcher at Queen Mary University of London, carrying out research on mental health in Syrian refugee children. Other interests include autism, alexithymia, TSC, the link between animal cruelty and violence, and the ethics of animal research.
