Optical telecommunications and cloud networking professional with a focus on optical system design, architecture, engineering, and development. Strong experimental, analytical, research and product development skills to drive innovation in metro, regional, and long-haul DWDM network design, including coherent transmission and DSP, flexible-grid ROADM networks, high capacity but streamlined metro/DCI systems, and SDN-enabled optical transport. Many of the results that come out of my work have some degree of novelty and have led to several patents, peer reviewed publications, and conference papers.
