Bio
Fernando O. Campos received the B.Sc. degree in informatics from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), Juiz de Fora, Brazil, in 2005; the M.Sc. degree in computational modeling from UFJF in 2008; and the Ph.D. degree from the Graz University of Technology, Graz, Austria, in 2012.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Biophysics, Medical University of Graz, Graz, Austria. He is a Member of the Austrian Society for Biomedical Engineering. His research interests include computational modeling of the electrical activity in the heart, with emphasis on the role of tissue microstructure and triggered activity on arrhythmogenesis.
