Fengshi Tian

Fengshi Tian is currently a Ph.D candidate at AI Chip Center for Emerging Smart System (ACCESS), HKUST, supervised by Prof. Tim Cheng and Prof. Chi Ying Tsui. Prior to that, he obtained his B.Eng. in Microelectronics Science and Engineering from Fudan University under the supervision of Prof. Xiaoyong Xue in 2021. Fengshi was also with CenBRAIN Neurotech, Westlake University as a visiting student during 2020-2021, supervised by Prof. Mohamad Sawan and Dr. Jie Yang. He visited University of Oxford in 2019, where he studied on motion planning and state estimation for unmanned systems. He also had multiple intern experiences in IC industry and investment business. His current research interests lie in neuromorphic computing for edge applications, domain-specific architecture design and computing-in-memory systems.
