Bio
Feng Sun (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. degree in mechanical designing and manufacturing automation and the M.E. degree in mechanical engineering from the Shenyang University of Technology, Shenyang, China, in 2002 and 2005, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Kochi University of Technology, Kochi, Japan, in 2010.
He is currently a Professor with the School of Mechanical Engineering, SUT. He has authored or coauthored more than 90 technical papers and three books. He has possessed ten invention patents. His current research interests include N.C. machining technology and equipment for complex surfaces, permanent maglev and control technology, off-axis laser cutting technology, and intelligent suspension system with energy feedback and active control.
Dr. Sun is a Member of the China Magnetic Levitation Technology Committee and the Production Engineering Branch of the China Mechanical Engineering Society.
