F. Rodriguez-Mateos

Félix Rodríguez Mateos received the M.Sc. in nuclear engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain. After a period with the Paul Scherrer Institute, Villigen, Switzerland, working on reliability aspects related to the operation of accelerators, he joined CERN, in 1989, where he has worked on subjects in the domains of applied superconductivity, superconducting magnets for accelerators, electrical engineering related to their design and quench protection hardware. He worked on leave from CERN for the ITER Project from 2008 to 2014, being responsible for the instrumentation of the tokamak’s superconducting magnets. Since 2016, he leads the Electrical Engineering Section of the Machine Protection and Electrical Integrity Group, CERN.
