My research interests span the interface between medical statistics and health technology assessment with particular focus on developing efficient analytic methods for cost-effectiveness analysis that uses data from clinical trials and creating user-friendly tools for implementation in Stata and R. Recent work in this regard has included: i) assessing the utility of routinely collected data (i.e. administrative databases and electronic health record systems) as an alternative source of information for trial-based economic evaluations and ii) jointly modelling multiple outcomes of mixed data types, such as those typically encountered in trial-based economic evaluation of interventions.
