Fei Yan(鄢非)

Fei Yan was born in Jiangxi, China. He received the M.Sc. degree in radiochemistry from Peking University, Peking, China, in 1995, and the Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry from the State University of New York, Binghamton, in 2001. In 2001, he spent two years as a Postdoctoral Researcher with Dr. R. Kopelman at the Department of Chemistry, University of Michigan, East Lansing, where he was involved in the development and characterization of molecularly targeted in vivo nanodevices for the early detection and therapy of cancer. He is currently a Postdoctoral Associate with Dr. T. Vo-Dinh at the Advanced Biomedical Science and Technology Group, Life Sciences Division, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, TN. His research interests include molecular recognition, nanofabrication, electrochemical and optical biosensors, chemical analysis at the cellular level, and microanalytical instrumentation. He has coauthored more than 20 publications in peer reviewed journals and international conferences.
