个人简介
Federica Bondioli is Full Professor of Materials Science and Technology (SSD ING-IND/22) at Politecnico di Torino, Dipartimento di Scienza Applicata e Tecnologia. She has graduated in Chemistry in 1995 at the Università degli Studi di Modena. She has achieved the Doctorate in Chemical Sciences in 1999. From December 2006 to December 2013 she was Associate Professor of Materials Science and Technology at the Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Dipartimento di Ingegneria “Enzo Ferrari” and fro January 2014 to November 2018 Associate Professor of Materials Science and Technology at the Università degli Studi di Parma, Dipartimento di Ingegneria e Architettura
Author or coauthor of more than 160 scientific publications on international journals presented in International Conferences, her research activity has always regarded the functional and structural ceramic materials (mainly for building applications). The activity can be distinguished in:
a) product and process innovation in the traditional ceramic materials;
b) innovative process to obtain inorganic coating and nanostructured materials. In this field the research is mainly oriented to the synthesis of nanostructurated inorganic and metallic powders by using different non conventional methods. The aim is to optimize the production process according to the final destination of the product from both, the qualitative and the economic point of view. Nanopowders have been used to obtain bioceramics or, in different polymeric matrix, in order to improve the mechanical properties and, some case, give new superficial functionality (superhydrophilic, hydrophobic, autocleaning, photocatalic…).
Recently her research interests have shifted towards the development of innovative materials for additive manufacturing technologies.
She has been, and is currently, coordinator of national and international scientific collaboration with feed back on the national and international industries mainly of the traditional ceramic field (Marazzi Group, Ceramiche Polis, Metco.....) and to additive manufacturing. She has been local coordinator of PRIN2007 project "Made in Italy in the ceramic industry for building use. Nanopowders and nanotechnologies for the aesthetic innovation and functionalization of the ceramic surfaces". She was the scientific coordinator of a significant bilateral project Italy-Egypt 2009-2011 founded by MAE titled "Transfer of innovative technology of dry milling for high value ceramic product with low environmental impact". She is the italian coordinator of a bilateral project Italy-Turkey 2012-2014 founded by MAE titled "Smart surfaces for traditional ceramic materials (Smart tile)".
She is is currently PI, for the DISAT Department, of the PISCO “PIedmont Space Components” regional project (Avio Spa as first proponent); and of the IMPACT "Implementation of CompetiTive Additive Production" regional project (Prima Industrie Spa as first proponent).
She is one of the founders of the spin-off MAT3D which deals with the development of innovative photocurable resins for DLP and SLA additive manufacturing technologies.
