Bio
Currently, I am working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Center for High Technology Materials and the Department of Mechanical Engineering, The University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States since September 15, 2023. In August 2019, I earned a Doctorate (Ph.D.) degree, supported by the National Research Foundation (NRF, Republic of Korea), from the “School of Materials Science and Engineering (Advanced Convergence Materials Science and Engineering/Applied Physics)” Changwon National University, Republic of Korea, with the title; “Comprehensive Understanding of Composition and Processing Effects on Electrical Properties of Lead-free BiFeO3–BaTiO3-based Piezoceramics” and got outstanding CGPA score 4.50/4.50. Furthermore, I published more than 40 Journal papers including well-renowned journals hold 1 patent, and attended more than 22 international conferences as a presenter with more than two invited talks. I have more than 550 citations, total impact factor > 185, h-index of 15, and i10-index of 21. In addition, I have established research collaborations with more than 10 international Institutions and published joint articles during my education and research career.
Beyond my research accomplishments, I also possess extensive teaching experience, spanning over three years, imparting knowledge to undergraduate and graduate students. My passion for education is reflected in my commitment to mentorship and nurturing the next generation of scientists and engineers.
My main research focuses to investigate multiferroic lead-free perovskites, tungsten bronze systems, and polymer-ceramic composites (to synthesize thin/thick films) materials, by using different heat-treatment techniques (slow cooling and quenching mechanisms) to minimize the dielectric losses. In addition, to study their structural, microstructural, dielectric, ferroelectric, magnetic, energy-storage, and piezoelectric properties for the sensor, actuator, and high-temperature energy-storage dielectric applications by using Conventional solid-state reaction route (CSSR), Sol-gel method, Molten salt method (MSM) for templates growth, and Hydrothermal method.
