Bio
Fatih Anayi (Member, IEEE) was born in Baghdad, Iraq. He received the B.Sc. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Baghdad, Baghdad, in 1975, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wales, Wales, U.K., in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Cardiff University, Cardiff, U.K., in 1992. After receiving the B.Sc. degree, he was in industry in Iraq for ten years. He has been a Researcher and an Academician with Cardiff University, since 1992. He has published 92 articles related to electrical machine design, electromagnetic, and power electronics. He has participated in writing two books, such as Analogue Electronic Circuits and Systems (Cambridge University Press, 1991) and Permanent-Magnet DC Linear Motors (Oxford University Press, 1996).
