Bio
I am currently doing a postdoc at stem cell institute in prof. Verfaillie's lab.
I am passionate about research, especially in the field of genome editing. In vivo genome editing is the ultimate cure for many genetic disorders. Many if not all of monogenic disorders, cause disease, because the function of terminally differentiated cells in different organs is impaired. Therefore, to reverse the defect caused by monogenic diseases, therapies that can correct the genetic defect in non-dividing cells are required. I am specifically interested on finding, developing or improving current tools that are potentially useful for this purpose.
