Fan Yang received the Ph.D. degree in physics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University of California at Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA, USA, in 2019. He is currently a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Department of Statistics and Data Science, University of Pennsylvania. He will be an Associate Professor with the Yau Mathematical Sciences Center, Tsinghua University, in 2022 Fall. His research interests include random matrix theory, high-dimensional statistics, statistical machine learning, and mathematical physics.
