Bio
Sam Faisal Eudes obtained his master's degree from Gansu Agricultural University, China, where he researched on the production and aroma improvement of low and non-alcoholic wines. He also completed his bachelor’s degree program in Food Processing Technology at University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana, and interned at Ghana Food and Drugs Board, Upper West region, Ghana while pursuing his BSc. degree. Before his recent postgraduate study, he was a Teaching Assistant in Research and Applied Statistics for Food Scientists, Nutrient Analyses in Food, and Principles of Nutrition at the Department of Food Science at UDS. Additionally, he worked as a Field Research Assistant to the Subcontractor for UDS Task Order no. #005, USAID's Resiliency in Northern Ghana (RING) project: Improving Nutrition in 17 Districts in Northern Region, Ghana by Promoting the Cultivation and Utilization of Orange-Fleshed Sweet potato. During his master's degree, he also participated in 1 project titled "Zero Alcohol" and the 11th National E-commerce Competition titled "Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship" organized by Gansu Agricultural University, and won the third and first prize, respectively, for his innovative product "Rose wine without Alcohol". The author has attended international conferences and has published more than 10 academic papers including original research articles, book chapters, and a review.
