个人简介
Dr. Fadi M. Alkhateeb is a Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at Qatar University College of Pharmacy. A long with being a pharmacist, Dr. Alkhateeb has an MBA degree with a concentration in Pharmaceutical Marketing & Management from Aspen University and a PhD in in Social and Administrative Pharmacy from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. Dr. Alkhateeb is a distinguished expert in new program evaluation and development and curriculum design and assessment. With extensive experience in strategic planning and accreditation management, he is a visionary with a passion for developing innovative learning and scholarly opportunities for junior faculty and students. He was also a member of the inaugural cohort of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Academic Leadership Fellows Program (ALFP). Prior to joining QU, Dr. Alkhateeb served as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at The University of Texas (UT) at Tyler, Texas, USA.
Dr. Alkhateeb has published more than 50 peer reviewed articles and over 60 presentations and proceedings related to socio-behavioral aspects of pharmacy profession, pharmacy education including innovative pedagogies and assessment of student learning, international accreditation for pharmacy programs and pharmaceutical marketing. At UT Tyler, Alkhateeb instituted curricular transformation with the extensive use of team-based learning (TBL) and a greater focus on practice management, leadership and advocacy. He has demonstrated his comprehensive understanding of domestic and international accreditation procedures through the successful completion of self-studies resulting in accreditation and reaccreditation at two institutions at both the programmatic and regional level.
