个人简介
My research interests focus on the response of structures to extreme loads; including the areas of earthquake engineering and structural robustness. My research vision focuses on integrating structural modeling, computational techniques, probabilistic concepts and experimental results into a coherent framework for the performance evaluation and design of structures chasing the urgent needs of modern societies for resilience and sustainability.
During my academic career, I collaborated within several large research projects addressing several issues related to the structural design and assessment. My research expertise covers the areas of seismic design and retrofit, seismic response and risk evaluation, smart structural details, resilience and robustness of structural systems which involves analytical and probabilistic studies, numerical simulations and large scale structural tests.
