个人简介
Postdoctoral research fellow at the MRC Centre for Medical Mycology at the University of Exeter, where he is currently working on understanding the underlying mechanisms by which C-type lectin receptors influence innate and adaptive immune responses during fungal infections. A biochemist by training, Fabian received his Ph.D. in 2016 from the School of Life Sciences at University of Nottingham, investigating the role of C-type lectin receptors in allergen recognition and modulation of human allergic responses. His research interests include the study of the early immunological events that initiate protective immunity or drive susceptibility against fungal infections, with a particular focus on innate immune cells.
