He coordinates the neurological aspects of epilepsy surgical program since 2014, modernized the epilepsy monitoring unit in 2014, making it capable to ignite the stereo-EEG program in 2016. He pioneered the neuromodulation in epilepsy in the country starting the vagal nerve stimulation in 2005, and anterior nucleus of thalami deep brain stimulation program in 2015. He participated in multiple clinical drug studies (lacosamid, brivaracetam, perampanel, EP0069) as sub-investigator and one as principal investigator (cenobamate) being top enroller in the world (61 patients). He started and coordinates the intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) service at NICN in 2011.
