Ferruccio Resta

Federica Resta received the master’s (summa cum laude) degree in telecommunications engineering-electronic for telecommunications orientation from the University of Salento, Lecce, Italy, in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree in physics and astronomy (curriculum physics technologies) from the University of Milano-Bicocca, Milan, Italy, in 2017. In 2014, she finished the advanced training on “Strengthening of Center for Sustainable Energy, Environment and Mobility”. She is currently a Research Fellow with the Physics Department, University of Milano-Bicocca. She is involved in the collaboration with INFN of Milano-Bicocca within the ScalTech28 Project in order to investigate on 28-nm ultra-scaled technology and radiation hardness analog integrated read-out front ends. The collaboration with the Max-Plank Institute of Monaco aims to provide a performant 130-nm MDT-ASD front end that could replace 500-nm current electronic. Her current research interests include the design of analog integrated circuits for telecommunications and/or high-energy physics experiments. The research activities are performed with model and simulation tools in order to design and to realize layout. Then, the integrated circuits are tested with proper PCBs realized with Altium Software.
