Served on the editorial boards of Science Immunology, the Journal of Clinical Investigation and Journal of Investigative Dermatology.

Received 14 prizes including the Alfred Marchionini Research Award (20th World Congress of Dermatology) and the American Skin Association Achievement Award (Tricontinental Meeting of the Societies of Investigative Dermatology).
