Filip Neele

Filip Neele holds a PhD in seismology, from Utrecht University, in 1993. He held an associate professorship at Utrecht University in seismology until 1996, when he joined the Electro-optics group at TNO in The Hague. He there worked in the areas of infra-red radiation and detection. In 2006 he changed to his current position in TNO. Since then he has been involved in various aspects of CO2 transport and storage, focusing on CO2 transport, storage and CCS network development. His special interest concerns the analysis and optimisation of the carbon capture, transport and storage chain. In 2018 and 2019, he has been involved in the development of the CO2 transport and storage infrastructure for several CCS consortia in The Netherlands. Since 2018, he coordinates the activities related to CO2 transport and storage in TNO. He has been co-chair of the Network Technology of the ETIP Zero Emission Platform (ZEP) since 2015.
