个人简介
Frédéric Mazaleyrat was born in 1966 in Saint-Germain-en-Laye close to Paris (France). He studied Electrical Engineering in Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris) and graduated in 1993. He started his PhD in ENS de Cachan under the supervision of Pr. Richard Barrué. He investigated the high temperature behavior of Fe-Si-B-Nb-Cu alloys nanocrystallised from an amorphous precursor. During this period, he teached elctronics in Paris-Sud University (Orsay). He has been assistant in Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers for two years and got a permanent position in Paris XII University in 1998 where he was teacheing mainly electrical engineering and gives lectures in magnetism at master level. He has been appointed full professor at ENS Cachan in 2009 where he teches applied physics and electrical engineering.
In the period 2001-2004, he was coordinator of a FP5 European project, “HiT-Fcore” aiming at inventing new nanocrystalline alloys for high temperature and/or high frequency power electronics and applying them in switch mode power supplies. The consortium was composed of five academic laboratories (IMA, Madrid; Warsaw Technical University; RISSPO, Budapest; IMN, Gliwice), three SMEs and 2 major companies (Thales and Arcelor).
He supervised 12 PhD, from which one in co-tutorship with India, and 4 more are in course from which two are in collaboration with industry (Thales and EDF). He published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and gave 8 invited lectures in international conferences in magnetism. He's co-editor of electrical engineering treatise of Technique de l'Ingenieur (in French) and referee for more than 10 physics international journals and conferences. F.M. was also member of the CNRS evaluation committee from 2004 to 2008
His current interest is focused on nanostructured multi-functional materials (soft/hard, magnetocaloric, multiferroic), superparamagnetic particles and power integration. This work is conducted in the frame national and european projects (FP7 SSEEC) or multi-disciplinary national and international partnership (Italy, Hungary, India, UK, Romania...)
