Bio
Francesco Marino received the M.S. degree in physics from the University of Milan, Milan, Italy, in 1999, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Balearic Islands, Balearic Islands, Spain, in 2004.
From 2005 to 2010, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the National Institute of Nuclear Physics, Rome, Italy, and the University of Florence, Florence, Italy. Currently, he is a Researcher with the National Institute of Optics of the National Research Council, Florence. His current research interests include experimental and theoretical studies on nonlinear dynamics in optical systems, gravitational wave detection, quantum optomechanical effects, and analogue models of gravity.
