My clinical service is in cytopathology. My research interest is primarily in hematopathology, both in congenital and neoplastic disorders. Current projects involve the construction of tissue arrays of plasma cell tumors for immunohistochemical and in-situ hybridization assays. A second ongoing project is a flow cytometric analysis of bone marrow derived B-lymphocytes from patients with the X-linked Hyper IgM Syndrome. Finally, I am finishing testicular germ cell tumor tissue array for immunohistochemical and in-situ hybridization assays to help classify and identify cytogenetic abnormalities that are diagnostically and prognostically significant.
