个人简介
Frédéric Genty is the French Dean of Ecole Centrale Pékin in Beihang University, Beijing, since 1st September 2018. He has joined this Institute as Deputy Director / Dean of Studies in September 2017.
He was previously Dean Research, Development and Corporate Relations of Mahindra Ecole Centrale, Hyderabad (India) between August 2015 and September 2017, Associate Director for Research & Industrial relationships of CentraleSupélec in Metz (France) between January 2014 and August 2015 and was also the acting Director of the Metz Campus of CentraleSupélec between 1st February 2015 and 31st March 2015.
He is Full- Professor of CentraleSupélec since 2008. Before, he was Assistant-Professor at University of Montpellier (France) from 2000 to 2008. His research activities concern the study and manufacturing of optoelectronic devices, especially semiconductor-based LEDs, lasers and sensors.
He was successively member of two laboratories of research (IES, LMOPS) in University of Montpellier and CentraleSupélec and was also with UMI n°2958 GT/CNRS as an associated member. He was the responsible of "Functional Materials" group of LMOPS between January 2013 and December 2014.
Frédéric Genty has been involved in several national and international research projects, gathering both academic and industrial partners, as project coordinator or partner leader. He also supervised several PhD thesis. He is a regular referee for international journals (Electronics Letters, JVST, IEEE, ...) and an expert for different scientific organizations (French National Agency, Czech Science Foundation, ...). He is author/co-author of > 100 papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings.
