I am interested in multi-wavelength surveys of the extragalactic sky to study galaxies and active super-massive black holes at their center (and not!), in particular the COSMOS and the NEP surveys.

In 2012, I was awarded an X-ray Visionary Project with the Chandra X-ray Observatory to observe the COSMOS field for 2.8 Million of seconds and study the cosmic evolution of black holes and galaxies.

NEW In 2019, I was awarded the largest NuSTAR telescope project ever (585,000 seconds), to observe in the hard X-ray band the NEP-JWST field.

I am member of the LYNX and Athena working groups. Both high spatial resolution and wide field of view are needed to further learn about the cosmic evolution of Black Holes. NEW My contribution to this discussion was submitted to the 2020 NASA Decadal survey in support of science with future X-ray missions.
