Bio
Evaristo Ballesteros (Ph.D. in Chemistry, Professor (full) University of Córdoba, Spain, 1993). The work experience of the research group has mainly focused on topics including analytical chemistry, food chemistry, food quality, environmental samples, biological samples, contaminants, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, chromatography, mass spectrometry and sample treatment. The current and previous research interests of the group can be summarized in the publication of more than 95 articles in high-impact index journals, including Food Chemistry, Food Control, Foods, Analytical Chemistry, Analyst, Journal of Chromatography, Analytica Chimica Acta, Talanta, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Water Research, Chemosphere, Science of the Total Environment, Environment Research and Trends in Analytical Chemistry. Evaristo Ballesteros's H index is 33 (Web of Science). He is a member of the Spanish Society of Food Safety and the Spanish Society of Analytical Chemistry. In addition, Dr. Ballesteros is a member of the editorial board of the journals Foods and Journal of Technology and Science Education.
