个人简介
Dr. Evandro Lima is a young researcher with extensive experience on molecular biology techniques, expression of recombinant enzymes and microbial cultivation. His research is focused on discovery and development of enzymes and microorganisms that can be used to produce high-value products from renewable resources. In his PhD, he carried out the prospection, production, characterization and application of enzymes from the lignocellulolytic arsenal of Bacillus licheniformis. Since 2015, he has contributed with the LNBR group of researchers to the mechanistic and structural study of CAZymes. During this period, he has also worked on projects in partnership with companies aiming the application of microbial enzymes in food, animal nutrition and biofuels industries. Nowadays, he has dedicated to the study genetic engineering and the development/scaling-up of a bioprocess to produce CAZymes by filamentous fungi.
