Bio
Ernő Prácser majored in mathematics at the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungary, in 1977, and received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Miskolc, Miskolc, Hungary, in 2007. The topic of the dissertation was the Reduction of the Number of Parameters of the Inversion Model in the Case of 2-D Direct Current and Magnetotelluric Inversions.
He is presently a Retired Research Worker of the Geodetic and Geophysical Institute, Sopron, Hungary. From 1981 to 2010, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Eötvös Loránd Geophysical Institute, Budapest. His main field of research is mathematical modeling and inversion of DC and electromagnetic measurements. He deals with modeling the Schumann resonances and with the inversion of SR measurements since 2014.
