个人简介
Eric Walkingshaw is an assistant professor of computer science at Oregon State University. His research interests are in language design, domain-specific languages, type systems, functional programming, and visual languages. He has developed formal languages and domain-specific languages for representing and computing with variability, experimental game theory, causal modeling, and producing interactive explanations. His work has earned two Best Paper awards.
Walkingshaw has a BA in creative writing and a BS in computer science (with a minor in applied mathematics) from the University of Washington (2006), and an MS and PhD in computer science from Oregon State University (2013). Before joining the faculty at Oregon State, he spent one year as a visiting researcher at the University of Marburg in Germany. From 2005-2007 he worked as a software developer in Seattle.
