Bio
Epimitheas Georgitzikis received the Diploma degree in electrical and computer engineering, focusing in electronics and computer engineering, from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, in 2009. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in engineering science with Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, under the supervision of Prof. Paul Heremans, dealing with the investigation of the electrical and optical properties of lead-sulfide colloidal quantum dots.
In 2016, he joined imec, where he works as a Ph.D. Researcher on thin-film infrared sensitive photodetectors. His research has focused on the characterization of thin film semiconductors such as polymers and colloidal quantum dots and their application in novel photodiode detectors.
