Ensieh S. Hosseini received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in chemistry from the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2009 and 2011, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in nanoscience and nanotechnology from the University of Averio, Portugal, as a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher in the NANOMOTION project in 2015. Her Ph.D. research focused on synthesis and investigation of new class of biopiezoelectric/bioferroelectric materials for various bioelectronic and biomechanical applications.
Afterward, she was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the University of Glasgow and Strathclyde, U.K., and subsequently she received the prestigious Marie Curie Fellowship (ELECTROHEAL-based) from the University of Glasgow. Her current research focuses on fabrication of bioelectric dressing using bioelectroactive materials for acceleration of the wound healing process in the chronic wounds.
