个人简介
Enamul Hoque Bhuiyan, a Research Scientist at the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research, previously held postdoctoral positions at the Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Institute at Mount Sinai and the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine. He earned his Ph.D. from the Sir Peter Mansfield Imaging Centre (SPMIC), University of Nottingham. His work at Mount Sinai focused on advanced image analysis and multi-parametric MRI methods, specifically in relation to liver cancer. At Yale, he delved into cutting-edge MRI techniques, including nonlinear gradient image encoding, novel contrast mechanisms, and reconstruction, with a particular emphasis on leveraging diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) for precise prostate cancer diagnosis. At Nottingham, he emphasized on developing novel approaches for motion correction in brain imaging.
Dr. Bhuiyan’s interested in the sophisticated development of hardware and software methods for biomedical imaging, utilizing the principles of Physics and Mathematics. His current pursuits encompass brain cancer and prostate cancer investigation using MRI, motion correction in MRI, state-of-the-art image reconstruction techniques, image analysis for comprehensive understanding of brain physiology and functions, and the quest for potential biomarkers related to neurological diseases and disorders.
