个人简介
My scientific interests relate to three themes: the theory of evolution, classification systems, and the conservation of biodiversity. My works focus on the study of evolutionary processes using phylogenetic trees at different scales of time and biological complexity. Evolution connects living things through ancestor-descendant relationships with changes in their characters. My approach is to collect data and analyze them in order to test hypotheses about the dynamics of these relationships. The development of statistical and bioinformatic tools for these analyzes constitutes an important part of my work. Some of my projects concern the application of these tools to conservation biology.
