Bio
I am a health economist working on the multi-disciplinary, DIPLOMA project, which seeks to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme. Within this role, I will develop a decision-analytic model to evaluate the long term cost-effectiveness of the programme.
I also have strong research interests in the transparency and reproducibility of decision-analytic models used in health economic research. As such, I am pursuing a part-time PhD at the University of East Anglia, exploring the value of replication in health economic decision models. As a part of this, I have received research funding from CLAHRC East of England to evaluate the reproducibility of decision models through a systematic review and replication study, published in Value in Health. Primary supervisor: Prof Tracey Sach, Secondary supervisors: Dr Nick Levell and Mr David Turner
