个人简介
Dr Emma Derbyshire has a background in Nutritional Biochemistry, PhD in Maternal Nutrition and over 10 years’ experience of working in academia, as a Senior Lecturer and Researcher in Human Nutrition and Physiology. Dr Derbyshire is the Founder of the successful consultancy Nutritional Insight. She also has a Level 5 Dyslexia SpLD qualification and pending level 7 Dyslexia Assessor SpLD qualification.
Emma has published over 150 peer-reviewed publications within the fields of Maternal Nutrition, Nutrition and Neurodiversity and Public Health Nutrition, winning several writing awards. She is the author of the successful text ‘Nutrition in the Childbearing Years’ published by Wiley Blackwell, worked with James Wong, conducting the research for his book “How to Eat Better” which reached number 1 on Amazon ‘all’ books and in 2023 signed a new contact working with Jessica Kingsley Publishers (Hodder & Stoughton Ltd) publishers.
Many of her publications are widely downloaded and cited in both professional and public domains with some receiving over 90,500 reads. Her publications are widely themed and include some of the following topics: Maternal Nutrition, Nutrition and Neurodiversity, Child Health, Protein Diversity, Immunonutrition, Micronutrients and Health and others.
Dr Derbyshire enjoys writing and has worked with top publishing houses, established food companies, supplement and pharmaceutical manufacturers, government organisations and communication agencies.
