个人简介
Emad M. Ahmed (S’08–M’12–SM’18) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Aswan University, Aswan, Egypt, in 2001 and 2006, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 2012.
He was with the Aswan Power Electronics Applications Research Center from 2012 to 2018. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Aswan University. Moreover, He is on a leave in Faculty of Engineering, Jouf University, KSA, Aljouf, Saudi Arabia, since the end of 2017. His current research interests include applied power electronics especially in renewable energy applications, microgrids, fault tolerant control, and battery management systems.
Dr. Emad is a member of the IEEE Power Electronics Society and the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society. He received the Baek-Hyun Award from the Korean Institute of Power Electronics for his academic contribution in the field of power electronics 2012.
