个人简介
My academic journey reflects a robust commitment to adapting to dynamic environments. Following my high school graduation in Togo, I embarked on an educational adventure that took me from Morocco, where I earned a Bachelor of Sciences, to pursuing a Master of Sciences in Animal Physiology and Neurosciences/Biotechnology. Subsequently, I had the privilege of being chosen among my fellow Togolese graduates to receive a scholarship for a Ph.D. program in France, which I successfully defended in 2020.
During my Ph.D. in Life and Health Sciences, my research focused on the fascinating realm of aging. I contributed significantly to scientific literature by uncovering essential insights into the pivotal role of cognitive motor interference in falls among older adults. This journey also honed my skills in translational human-animal research.
Subsequently, I pursued a postdoctoral fellowship aimed at acquiring expertise in implementing physical activity strategies to mitigate the risk of falls while considering the intricate relationship between cognition and motor functions. Consequently, I developed a keen interest in harnessing technology-assisted physical activities, which have shown remarkable benefits, and exploring their underlying neurophysiological determinants to optimize their effectiveness. Another crucial aspect of my research involves fostering collaborative approaches that directly involve older adults in the development of these physical activity interventions.
As of September 2023, I've been appointed as an Associate Professor at the University of Limoges. In this capacity, I will be imparting knowledge in neurosciences and physiology within the Sports Sciences Department while concurrently spearheading the research efforts mentioned above in the HAVAE Laboratory. My academic and research pursuits are driven by a steadfast commitment to advancing our understanding of aging, cognitive-motor interactions, and technology-enhanced physical activities for the betterment of older adults' well-being
