Bio
Elif Kaya (S’15) received the B.Sc. degree (Hons.) in electronic engineering from Erciyes University, Kayseri, Turkey, in 2008, the M.S.E. degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering from Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2010, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Columbia University, New York, NY, USA, in 2013. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the Analog & Mixed Signal Center, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA.
Her current research interests include RF/microwave/millimeter-wave integrated circuits and systems, microwave chemical/biochemical sensing for laboratory-on-chip applications, and transceiver design for fifth-generation (5G) communication systems.
Ms. Kaya was a recipient of the 2009 Study Abroad Full Scholarship (Master–Ph.D.) granted by the Turkish Ministry of Education, the 2017 IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS) Student Travel Grant Award (STGA), the First Place Award of the Student Poster Competition at the IEEE Texas Symposium on Wireless Microwave Circuits and Systems in 2019, and the Texas A&M University 2019 National Science Foundation (NSF) The Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Site Fellow. She serves as a Reviewer for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and System—II: Regular Papers, the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems—II: Express Briefs, IEEE Solid- State Circuits Letters, and the IETE Journal of Research.
