个人简介
Master's Degree in Agricultural Microbiology from the Federal University of Viçosa (2005), with an emphasis on Food Microbiology. In 2006, she served as "Trainne" and Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Microbiology (Microbiology Laboratory) at the University of Zurich (Switzerland), conducting experiments related to the mechanism of cell-cell communication (quorum sensing) in bacteria of the genus Burkholderia. She holds a PhD in Food Science and Technology from the Federal University of Viçosa (2012) and is an Effective Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Southeast Minas Gerais, Rio Pomba campus (IF Sudeste MG), teaching courses in the area of Food Processing, Fruits and Vegetables, Probiotics in the Food Industry and Scientific Methodology. She was coordinator of the Food Science and Technology course, undergraduate level, at the Rio Pomba campus. She is currently vice-coordinator of the Professional Master's Degree in Food Science and Technology and member of the Internationalization Committee of IF Sudeste MG. He is fluent in English and has experience in the area of Microbiology, with an emphasis on Food Microbiology, working mainly on the following topics: Minimally processed foods (fruits and vegetables), Use of probiotic cultures in fruit and vegetable products, Functional foods, Control, microbiological quality and good practices for food production.
