个人简介
Elena Fratini is a PhD Student in Human Factors at Loughborough School of Design and Creative Arts, Design School, Loughborough University, and her research is focused on automated vehicle-pedestrians interactions through eHMIs in complex traffic environments. She obtained her BSc in Product Design Engineering at Liverpool John Moore University in 2018 and her MSc in Human Factors (Ergonomics) at Loughborough University in 2019. Her current research is part of the ICAROS project (https://icaros.lboro.ac.uk/) an initiative aimed at studying the effects of autonomous vehicles on vulnerable road users. She received 1 award for the best conference paper titled "Instruction or intention? Investigating eHMIs’ intuitiveness as allocentric or egocentric messages for different light animations, road priorities and vehicle behaviours" at the Humanist Conference 2021 in Rhodes. She recently published a paper as a co-author.
Her interests are in Virtual Reality, Human-Computer Interaction Design and Research Methods, Ergonomic Product Design, and Pedestrian Behaviour.
