Bio
Dr Ehsan Asadi is a Senior Lecturer at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia and serves as an associate editor for the journal of IEEE Access. He is also co-founder of Transforma Robotics Ltd Pte, a startup company which develops robotic solutions for the built environment. He is a former postdoctoral research fellow in the Robotic Research Center at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He received his PhD from Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, where he worked on a vision-aided inertial navigation system for the rotary-wing aircraft. His current research interests and expertise include sensor fusion, Kalman filtering, vision-aided inertial navigation, simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) and field robots for construction.
