Trinklein, E.

Eddy H. Trinklein received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Michigan Tech, Houghton, MI, USA, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering. He spent five years as a Fixture and a Machine Designer for Key Design, Inc., Pasig, Philippines. He is currently a Research Engineer and a Senior Capstone Design Topical Expert for dynamics, controls, and electromechanical systems with the Mechanical Engineering-Engineering Mechanics Department, Michigan Technological University. He has significant expertise in the design, development, and analysis of actuator and sensing systems, control systems and related algorithms. He is involved in systems for Navy vessels, including control systems for extending boom cranes, motion compensation platforms, and microgrids. While at Michigan Tech, he has advised over a 13 Senior Capstone Design teams. He has co-authored seven peer-reviewed publications.
