I have a large experience in low temperature detectors. In particular I have worked with Transition-Edge Sensors (TESs) to detect photon in the optical and infrared range for 10 years. Now I work on TES to detect photons with much higher energy. In particular, I am involved in the characterization of the TES array for the X-ray Integral Field Unit (X-IFU) on board of the European Athena Space Telescope. The characterization of the array, in particular the energy resolution, will be performed in a new cryostat. My tasks are evaluating the new cooler by operating TES calorimeters and optimizing it for testing TES array and performing measurements and analysis of the array.
