Bio
Edoardo Raparelli received the Bachelor's degree in physics from the University of L'Aquila, L'Aquila, Italy, in 2015, the Master degree in atmospheric and cryospheric sciences from the University of Innsbruck, Innsbruck, Austria, in 2018, and the Ph.D. degree in information and communication technologies from the La Sapienza University of Rome, Rome, Italy, in 2022.
During 2018, he has been a visiting student with the WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF, Davos, Switzerland, where he studied the applicability of modern parametrizations for new snow settlement to a real snow cover. While pursuing Ph.D. degree, he investigated the potentials of combining model-simulated and remotely retrieved snow cover data to reproduce the observed snow cover properties.
