My main interest is to study the role of vitamin D and calcium in the prevention of colorectal cancer. Our research focuses on the understanding of the molecular and biochemical mechanisms of the anti-tumourigenic effects of vitamin D. Genetic and epigenetic regulation of the calcium sensing receptor and its role in colorectal cancer.
