Bio
Enza De Lauro received the master’s and Ph.D. degrees in physics from the University of Salerno, Fisciano, Italy, in 2003 and 2007, respectively.
In 2013, she joined the Department of Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Applied Mathematics, University of Salerno as an Assistant Professor, where she currently collaborates as an External Expert. She is also a Mathematics And Science Teacher with the Ministry of Education, Universities and Research. Her research activity regards the study of complex systems that develop the properties of coherence aimed at their understanding, description, and mathematical modeling. From an applicative point of view, her research topics include nonlinear dynamic system, volcano semiology, Internet of Things, and signal processing.
Dr. De Lauro is also a Topical Advisory Panel Member of the Journal of Geosciences (MDPI) and served as a Topic Editor of Advances in Geosciences Special Volume Understanding Volcanic Processes Through Geophysical and Volcanological Data Investigations: Some Case Studies From Italian Sites (EGU2019 GMPV5.11 session, COV10 S01.11 session)—Copernicus Publications. She has been a Convener of several international conferences of geophysics and physics and a reviewer for many peer-reviewed scientific journals.
